Strength in Numbers
Students encounter numbers in school, in everyday life, and in managing money. Too many students suffer through those experiences in school and will later in life since they have a weakness with numbers.
At Strength in Numbers it is our mission to help high school students develop those weaknesses into strengths.
You guessed it - our mission is to build students' Strength in Numbers!
How do we achieve that?
We target three areas where numbers are used - three areas where many students are weak and need to develop strength:
1) School Math
We will target immediate needs like homework and tests, we help students build strength in numbers in subjects like pre-algebra, Algebra 1/2/3 or Math 1/2/3, geometry, precalculus, calculus as well as middle school math.
2) Math You Use
Your student will learn good mental math habits that will payoff immediately and in the long-term. We don't teach tricks. We do guide students to real knowledge and lasting understanding in everyday math. This happens in the normal flow of tutoring.
3) Money Math
Ever wished you learned the basics of money earlier in life? You can give that amazing head start to your child. We will teach them that handling money is one of the B.I.G.G.E.S.T. things they will have to master as an adult.
As your child builds his/her own Strength in Numbers their grades will likely improve.
More importantly, your child will develop self-confidence.
